New guy, central Illinois. I joined a few years ago after searching the internet for some info. Saw the wealth of info here, ponied up some dough to help keep it going. I’m a simple guy doing simple cooking- some Weber kettles, a Weber genesis and PBC. Admittedly, I’m probably a little out of my league here. But I tend to get bored doing the same things over and over so I’ll be Looking for new things, asking dumb questions, etc. I’ve ruined my fair share of meat over the years, but I’m getting to the point where I need to try some new things, if that makes any sense.
as a side note- my youngest son who is home from college got a summer job slinging meat at my favorite neighborhood meat market/butcher shop. We talk meat all the time now. Brings a tear to my eye.
