Hello from North Fl.
I just found this site and found it very informative. I've been cooking with some level of seriousness for about 20 years and did a little bit of time in KCBS and Fl. BBQ comps however the majority of my BBQ is for family and friends. I own a Stump GF223, WSM and just ordered a PBC which should arrive tomorrow. I got the PBC because though I love my Stump, loading it onto my trailer to go to friends houses is not exactly easy. I'm excited to see how the PBC compares, I've heard a lot of good things about it. Anyway, just here to learn and share ideas. Take Care- RonTags: None

I cook on a 15-year-old Kamado #9, a huge beast nearly 6 feet tall and with black ceramic tile on the outside. I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds. Just added an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.

My wife is in Boynton Beach visiting her mother. She was born and raised in the area. Before we got married 40 years ago I told her I didn't like heat and humidity so I would never go to Florida. Never have.
