    Hello for Bay Area, California

    Greetings Everyone

Been coming here for sometime and decided to join the pit club today. Absolutely love this site. You guys have simplified (just being polite..heh heh) every step of the recipes for guys like me.

Made my "best turkey ever" (wife said it and got lots of browny point for it.. ) following the smoked turkey recipe here.

In addition I have made pulled pork and last-meal ribs from recipes here. Everyone who tried my BBQ was dutifully taken for a tour of this website after checking out my pride and joy, a Weber Smokey Mountain 18.5" Charcoal Smoker, and my Weber S-330 Grill. Looking forward to trying more recipes from here to expand my repertoire and take advantage of everything this website has to offer. Thank you, for making me look good as a pit boy!

Got some some SL ribs brining for tomorrow. Will report back...

Welcome and congrats. I apparently did so well for the in-laws family reunion that I have been recruited to smoke a turkey and a ham for Thanksgiving, I have not had much luck with birds so far...
Share some pics if you get some, I haven't seen output for a WSM yet.

Welcome Mizu. That's a great looking bird. Congrats on it turning out so well. Nothing like having something come off the smoker that everyone brags about.

Welcome Mizu! Nice bird you cooked there. I think you're underselling your skilz a little bit in your intro. You've made several recipes that demonstrate you're really into cooking.

Bring The Heat With Broil King Signet’s Dual Tube Burners

                3 burner gas grill

The Broil King Signet 320 is a modestly priced, 3-burner gas grill that packs a lot of value and power under the hood including dual-tube burners that are able to achieve high, searing temps that rival most comparatively priced gas grills. Click here to read our complete review.

GrillGrates Take Gas Grills To The Infrared Zone

GrillGrates amplify heat, prevent flare-ups, make flipping foods easier, kill hotspots, flip over to make a fine griddle, and can be easily moved from one grill to another. Click here for more about what makes these grates so special.

The Pit Barrel Cooker May Be Too Easy

The PBC has a rabid cult following for good reason. It’s among the best bargains for a smoker in the world. This baby cooks circles around cheap offset smokers because temperature control is so much easier. Click here to read our detailed review and the raves from people who own them.

A Propane Smoker That Performs Under Pressure

The Masterbuilt MPS 340/G ThermoTemp XL Propane Smoker is the first propane smoker with a thermostat, making this baby foolproof. All you need to do is add wood to the tray above the burner to start smokin’. Click here to read our detailed review.
