    Hello everyone!

    Hello guys and gals! Doug here. I'm a big fan of meat... and projects. I used to cook a mean broiler steak but the smoke in the apartment got a little out of hand. Now a homeowner, I'm excited to finally have the freedom to grill!

    Thanks to Meathead and the other contributors for all the content you've so generously posted this far. I look forward to enjoying the fruits of your tutelage!

        Well, as it happens, I'm in the market for a new grill now. I had a charcoal grill with a sidecar smoker last summer that I gave to a friend in exchange for lots of smoked venison. The plan has been a natural gas grill all along.

        I'm looking in the $500 range. My neighbor will be setting up the gas hardline soon, so I'm chomping at the bit to bring something home. Right now - based largely on information from this site - I'm looking at a char broil commercial or a broil King Baron 4 burner. I like the option of having a side burner that can get a skillet extremely hot for quick
