An update....

Managed to make contact with customer service thru the Facebook messaging function. They said that their email team was about 4 days behind. They offered no explanation to how far behind they were on receiving phone calls. I guess it is somewhat reasonable that this is the BBQ season but would have thought they would have been better prepared. They did ask for the email name I used and the subject. Gave that to them yesterday and still no word. So, at the moment, the grill is scheduled to be returned to Lowe's on Friday. I really wanted this to work but I am not comfortable with the problems I am seeing and the customer service.
