Henrik, of all the places we went- Stockholm to Oslo to Bergen to Copenhagen, Oslo, while it has its charms (really great museums) was maybe my least favorite. Apparently a lot of it was destroyed by the Nazi's in WW2, and Oslo, at least where we were (I hear it does have an old town area) and it appears to be mostly new and modern architecture. One of the charms of Stockholm is the juxtaposition of modern Scandinavian architecture side-by-side with the lovely, very old buildings. Stockholm was definitely my favorite, followed by Copenage. This fall my wife and I went back to Copenhagen for a longer (week) visit and then a week in Amsterdam, which was a first for us. Loved both places.
