Hello from south Texas. You’ll love that Yoder. I’m having fun with my YS640.

Welcome to The Pit. The only butcher in my area doesn't have much of a selection during the week. He stocks up for weekends. And he can order just about anything you want. I try to use the NAMP number, (IMPS number), when ordering. That helps eliminate confusion.

Welcome to the Pit. I grew up in Bolingbrook, but have been away for quite a while now.

Welcome from the NW burbs of Gilberts. We have quite a few local butcher shops but you are an easy hour south of me. Elburn has Ream’s which a lot of people rave about. That is about a 45 minute drive for you.

Reams is on my list of places to go! Been recommended by a few friends already too!

Welcome to the Pit from Illinois (Bolingbrook as well). For the last couple of years I have been getting my meat from Costco. I have recently been getting ribs (Smithfield) and chicken (Tyson) from Walmart. Costco has some really good prices on brisket. I have also gotten pork butts from GFS. If you don't have a membership and want to check out Costco let me know.

they cut to order, make dozens of sausages, even have dried cured bacon.

Also Meijer's has ribs that aren't "enhanced".
