Not too far from you here, just over in NE OK. Glad to see you! You don't need top of the line equipment to put out top of the line 'que, man. Just need to know your equipment and how it cooks. Get that smoker together and get to cookin', so you know what to expect out of your new rig!
Oh, and for cooking lots of ribs, I HIGHLY recommend THESE:
With two sets of those, you can run 6 racks with NO problem. I don't know how big your new smoker is, but this will maximize your capabilities for sure! With my Traeger BBQ124 and my Yoder YS480 I can do 15 racks of BB at a time if I squeeze three on the top rack of my Yoder. I actually put together a 2nd shelf rack for my Traeger I might be able to put 2 more on if I tried. Those things were a lifesaver when someone here told us about them!
Good luck and smoke on!

Been thinking of trying those for a while. Those look pretty good. Might just order a couple. Thanks man!

Brentaustin I have 2 extra sets still in the box. I bought 6, thinking I could use them on my top grate too, but there isn't room. If you want to PM me your address, I'll send you the two extra sets. I have no use for them, really.

Welcome from central Texas. I joined recently and have nothing but good things to say about the people here. There are some incredible pit masters on this sight and some people with great senses of humor. I've learned a ton by going to the sub forums and reading back into the old posts. I traveled through your area a while back on a striper fishing trip, it's beautiful there.
