Just passin' thru and wanted to say hello to all you Pit Master's out there. I saw this article/ad while visiting Pinterest...the meat Dept.!! Born in Houston,Texas.....Joined the Marines in April 66'- I came home in Feb.of 88' after living many years in Jacksonville,N.C. In 96' I went to work for the Texas Dept. of Criminal Justice-Institutional Division and later retired from there. I'm an avid Saltwater fisherman btw. In 99' while a member of a local fishing club, I became a Cert. WeighMaster and formed my own Team.."Coastal Bend Weigh Team". If you do not know what that is.....I weigh the fish etc. in Local Tournaments (Weigh Stations). It's been a Family owned and operated biz since. Long time..my Hobby I guess. Now, later in life I'm getting into BBQ ing,Smoking meats, and making Beef Jerky. MOF, I just received my meat grinder today. A cheap one to start with!! Looking forward to saying hey to a few of ya and I will depend on ya'll and AmazingRibs to keep me going in the right direction. God Bless and Happy New Year all. Semper Fi
