Hi! Just joined. I live in Honduras where there is a BBQ dearth.I have a cermanic grill, a brick smoker/grill that I built and just aquired a stainless steel whole hog spit. The whole hog thing is what I want to learn. I am also starting with corned beef with good results so far.

Welcome and thanks for the support from afar.

My wife freaks out when I am skinning a deer, can't imagine a whole hog being cooked.

Lack of BBQ by tradition or lack of protein availability? I know nothing about Honduras other that location.

Welcome Patron. Sounds like you're building a nice little arsenal there. One of my step-daughters did a 10-day school trip to Honduras year before last, working in a school and doing some building projects, and totally fell in love with the people and the country

Welcome Patron! I've been to Honduras a couple of times back in my USAF days. The airfield they sent us to was in a bowl (surrounded by mountains).
