Greetings all. My name is Donald, or Don for short. I live in Pelham NC with my dad, but my primary career is an over the road truck driver, so I'm all over the country. Every time I go home, I always pull out my Weber Kettle. (my dad always puts it up in the shed when I leave. :P) I've had it since this summer, and mostly use it for indirect; almost seems like a waste to cook on it direct, 15 minutes at the most, and then have hours of unused wasted heat. So far I've cooked ribs, beef chuck, pork picnic, Boston butt, leg quarters, and a pot of chili on there to name a few. I'm glad I found this site (AFTER all those) to fall back on. Anywhoo, just wanted to stop and say hi. Take care!
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
