      This is a great place to hang out and we hope you will join us on a regular basis. We have a great group of dedicated members that will be more than willing to help you out.

          It feels strange welcoming you as I just joined a few days ago myself, but welcome! The guys and gals on here are amazing; the most polite and friendly forum I have come across on the web thus far.

          And I am still learning and sifting through all of the priceless information found on this forum to continue my journey. It feels quite overwhelming, but we'll get there.

            Welcome to the pit Kascon11! We look forward to seeing your cooks. Gasser, pellets, offset, doesn't matter. I'll let you in on a little secret: some of us pit members have more than one grill, would you believe it?

            Since you’re new, and if you haven't already done so, please check out our homework assignment post for new members, it contains a few how-tos and please-dos. This will help you learn your way around so you can get the best experience from our forum.

            Also, it's very important that you:

            Give us an email address you actually use. You can check the email we have on file for you by clicking your name in the upper-right, then User Settings, then the Notifications tab. You currently cannot change your email on file with us since it’s tied to your Pitmaster Club account as well as our payment processor, Stripe. Don’t worry though, we’d be happy to change it for you. PM (private message) ”Huskee” with your email change request, or via email at [email protected]

            Add the domain AmazingRibs.com to your email safe list. We NEVER spam! This is important to receive notices about your account, such as if you’re up for renewal or are ever drawn as our monthly Gold Medal Giveaway winner, which is open to all USA members or those with a USA delivery address (we’d hate to have to pick another person because you don’t answer us)!

                            I joined this year and spent the summer learning here how to smoke on my natural gas weber. Its been a lot of fun. As a few have mentioned, you can jump right in if you care to with your gasser and folks here will help you.

                            Like you, I haven't decided what I'll do for a dedicated smoker, but I know one is in my future.
