Hi everyone. I've been using the site religiously for three or four years, and have really upped my barbecue game. I'm a health insurance broker/consultant living in Anchorage. Allergic to salmon (although I love to catch them) but I still cook them often for guests. I barbecue/smoke just about anything. Prime rib, steaks, roasts, brisket (favorite), etc. Just smoked a turkey for thanksgiving.
I have a 2000 model year Weber Performer. Charcoal with a gas assisted starter. Smokenator, hover grill and an infrared "oilless fryer" complete the ensemble. Glad to join the club and contribute to the site that has assisted me greatly.

Thanks Jon! I have the Char-Broil Big Easy. I bought it one year in lieu of a turkey fryer at the suggestion of someone here on Amazing Ribs. The turkey was at par with my lightly smoked turkey that year. I've used it mostly when I have a lot of people coming. I'll put a large chunk of meat in the Big Easy and do my thing on the Weber
