Thanks all for the warm welcome, I will definitely try not to burn my condo building down! It is all cement / brick and metal out there, so I am reasonably safe, and I'm running natural gas instead of charcoal so not moving around firey lumps of fuel either (sweet delicious meat making fuel...). Would love to hear more from the Chicagoans on where they get their meat. I saw a few posts about specific meat shops around the area when I searched the forums, but none were super convenient for me. Though I plan on making a few special trips all the same.

I get most of my meat at the Costco on clyborne. That's northside, obviously.
