    Hi from sunny (rainy!) UK!

    Hi guys, girls and pitmasters!

    After reading and salivating over much of the website with a passion for outdoor cooking (although handicapped with the English weather) the better half bought a Weber kettle.

    Following some good advice from the site, I've fitted a gasket to the kettle lid, added a probe grommet and began using probe thermometers in cooking.

    So thanks to everyone for a great site, it's definitely upped my game when it comes to outdoor cooking. Looking forward to being a part of the group!

            Welcome to fun and learning! I've got a Weber 22 kettle myself that I'm learning how to really cook on! This Pit is great for information to speed our progress in the art of BBQ. I would agree with Mr. Bones on the simple awning or brolly to keep the rain off and as long as the outside temperature isn't bad, smoke/grill away!

            Please post pictures if you can -- we like to drool over other's successes as much as eat our own success!
