DManInAZ here! Guess where I live? Love this site! Made some chicken last weekend using the marinade recipe, and I'll tell you, when my 13 y/o says "Dad, can we chicken like this again?" it HAS to be GOOD! Looking forward to making the Ultimate Turkey for Thanksgiving, with a test run next weekend.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.

Great job on impressing the teenager with Meathead's recipe. It is not hard to impress anyone with his recipes, he is a great chef himself plus he has a full time sous chef helpiong him develop recipes. I have wowed guests with his recipes too. He is a great guy for sharing everything for free.
