Hello Everyone! Just signed up today after visiting this site many times for reviews and tips. I love smoking, grilling, and BBQ of which the good kind is hard to find here in Jersey City or Manhattan. In my tiny city yard are my two favorite toys: 18in WSM and my old school Weber gas grill which is still kicking after 15 years or so. Thinking about getting one of the new ones that just came out.

Today is also my first day using the smoker during winter after discovering that it works just fine even in the cold. I currently have Last Meal Ribs on the smoker and am looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

My favorite so far is pulled pork, Carolina style. I have yet to try a brisket but will do so soon after I get a couple of overnight smokes in.

Glad to join the pit master crew. The best BBQ in Jersey City is in my backyard, and I'm looking forward to getting even better with everyone's help!

From what I've seen when I'm there working, there's some pretty good BBQ in Manhattan.

Hi, my name is Darrell. I'm an OTR truck driver for over 25 years. During my off time I love doing backyard cooks. I have a 48" Lang Deluxe smoker, Rec-Tec pellet smoker,1 Weber Genesis 330, 1 Weber Performer (blue), 2 Weber kettles (1 black and 1 Copper), 1 26" Weber kettle, a WSM, 8 Maverick Redi Chek thermometers, a PartyQ, 2 SnS, Grill Grates, Cast Iron grates, 1 ThermoPop (orange) and 2 ThermoPens (pink and orange) and planning on adding more cooking accessories. Now I have an Anova sous vide, the Dragon blower and 2 Chef alarms from Thermoworks.
