Welcome from a fellow new member of the Pit and New Englander. Getting snow now but not enough to keep me from smoking on Sunday! Great pics...i will have to keep my eye out for Tri Tip.
Snow now too in western ma. Someone told me, don't know for sure but maybe someone does, Trader Joe's has tri tip on a regular basis. Closest one from me is an hour. But 2 hrs Round trip is Better then no tri tip.
Know whete else ive been getting meat? Walmart. New for me. They have vg ribs, and regularly have beef back ribs. I read recently that beef back ribs are short ribs anorexic cousin. Maybe true but I did a batch of beef ribs from Walmart (dig, there were plenty of meaty ones available) and they were awesome. Had a buddy over that isn't a fan of bones in good, bit of an odd duck but a great guy and friend despite being whacked w bones. He devoured the beef and bbr and was blown away w beef ribs. Walmart .
