Welcome to the Pit!! What kind of grill did you end up getting?

I decided to start with a PK Grill, probably for the wrong reasons. Happy memories remain of a PK my parents had in the late 70's, early 80's. It seemed to me a KISS approach to charcoal cooking. Coincidentally, I had pretty well settled on the PK before I discovered AR; Meathead's favorable review pushed me over the edge. I am looking forward to playing with the new toy!

Spinaker's question brought me back to this forum, which reminded me I needed to thank all of y'all who have extended greetings and welcoming comments to me. All that makes AR feel like a friendly hospitable place. Thank you!

I don't know that I will ever be able to pull my weight around here by passing along knowledge and skills but, as I am learning and enjoying the wealth of content here, I will do my best to extend the hospitality to newcomers extended to, and greatly appreciated by, me.
