Cooked some St. Louis ribs for my wife Saturday. 1st cook. Was impressed with the way the Yoder held temperature. I think this thing is going to be a lot of fun, and let me concentrate on my recipes and not worry so much about temperatures like I did on various other cookers. Christmas Eve will be an Eye of Round roast (family favorite-don't ask me why), 12 lb spatchcocked turkey, and a fresh ham that is a Christmas present from a friend who owns a restaurant. I will get to really see what this thing does soon. I am impressed with the quality of the YS640. It is heavy duty everywhere. I think I spent my money well. I will report soon....
