Hello Pitmasters from Another Northern VA

Hello to all you pitmaster's. Been playing with grilling, smoking and cooking for a while. Just decided to get serious in last few years. It's the one hobby I can keep doing for the rest of my life. I am at the point now that I prefer my food to most restaurants. After trying many grills and techniques, I am currently using the Primo XL Oval with the DigiQ controller (purchased this year). I also have a propane grill for quick work, glazing and burgers and dogs. Enrolled in the Rouxbe cooking coarse online. Have really learned a bunch through that. I'm reading Meathead's excellent book, and I really love this website.

Grilla Pellet Smoker proves good things come in small packages

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

Napoleon’s 22″ Pro Cart Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It’s hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the 22″ Pro Cart a viable alternative.
