Too many people to reply to individually, but thank you all for taking the time to welcome me to the community - much appreciated and I will try and put back in as much as I take!
Been a while since I was last in the US and may well be a long time until I am again, but I miss spending time there. Some of my fondest food memories came from eating in various places across the country and a lot of what I cook derives from US influences or comes straight from US sources.
Now, onto some of the specific questions. If I missed yours out, let me know and I will make amends.

I mean.. if someone hands me a bowl with them in, I'll eat it. But I'm not putting them in anything I make.
Never seen it! Not something that tickles my fancy - more of a Ludwig man then a Lasso.Originally posted by Alan Brice View PostWelcome from Cincy Ohio! What do you think of Ted Lasso?
I made biscuits and gravy at the weekend - one of my favourite comfort dishes when I get the time. Love it!Originally posted by WI Bubba View PostYou'll be just fine right up until you start making fun of our biscuits.
No to only ketchup, yes to only mustard, yes to a bit of both - kind of depends on the situation.Originally posted by SheilaAnn View PostPicking up from what’s written above…. Do you put ketchup on a hot dog?
Hard to find an authentic dog here, so the fancy sausages we have access to can benefit from a little bit of ketchup.
Mustard, white onion and relish would be my preference. But I also like a chili dog - no beans, obviously.
