Introducing myself, my name is Frank, I've been reading Meathead's site for years but only took the plunge a couple days ago and joined the Pitmaster Club.
I'm originally from Ithaca, NY, but for the last 35 years my family and I have made our home on that hotbed of barbecue, Long Island.
My family and friends think I make great BBQ but really it's strictly backyard-grade. I have a small collection of bbq toys - I have a Weber kettle, a PBC, a Weber gasser for weekday burgers, and last fall invested a whole $60 on a used Camp Chef pellet smoker that I cooked our Thanksgiving turkey on.
