                Welcome from Washington, the state.
I get regenerative farming. Am confused, however, re regenerative ranching. My family in Nebraska has been there since 1883. Ranching and farming. The family has land never touched by plow or fertilizer or seed. Manage the pastures, Rotate grazing periods from year to year to encourage growth of various species. Don't overgraze. Spread water sources, salt, and mineral to encourage more even grazing. Been doing that for decades.
My grandfather, long gone, said that in 1910 one could walk 10 miles to town and if careful, never step on a blade of grass. In the 1960's, when he said that. it was impossible to not step on grass.

Please do not take this as argumentative. As you say, still learning.

Welcome from Washington state. Where is your farm? My daughter used to own property that shared a border with double R.

Here is another welcome from Minnesota.

Like you, I am on the production side of the beef industry. This site has been very helpful for me to get to know what beef consumers are interested in, what suggestions that they have for various cuts, and general BBQ and grilling ideas.

I am far from an expert, but know much more now than I did before joining the Pitmaster forum!
