Hey everyone!! Raised in Northern Virginia we didn’t have much when I was growing up other than grilled burgers, steak, and chicken. When I was 19 I moved to Austin, TX and was introduced to what I considered “real BBQ”! Moved back to NoVa after 15 years or so and really missed the food I left behind. I figured I needed to make my own BBQ since nothing seemed to live up to what I was exposed to in Central Texas. Been smoking (Recteq pellet smoker) for about four years now, but always trying to improve and broaden my horizons…… which brought me here.
