My youngest son and I, he is 12, love BBQ and grilling. We live in Northwest Ohio were good BBQ is not a big tradition. We started making BBQ ourselves to overcome this lack of good BBQ. We have some good and some bad but enjoy learning and seeing the improvements. This site was a great find and a wealth of information that is starting to give us better results. One example is the sauce recipes. My wife will not eat or even try BBQ sauce until I made one homemade. She absolutely loved it.

Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
