Big fan of the website - pleased to contribute; payback for all the good advice and science I have learned from AmazingRibs.com. Grilling and smoking in Alaska I am a fan (not fanatic) of the Big Green Egg as the wide range of weather conditions have little influence on a hot grill or long smoke (-20F to +90F). Looking forward to stories, experience, and tips from all you like minded 'pitmasters' that joined to support AmazingRibs.
Scotch: Current favorite- The Arran (anything by them), Glenmorangie 12yr Lasanta, sherry cask finished. The Balvenie Double Wood, also like Oban 18yr, and The Glenlivet Nadurra (Oloroso sherry cask finished) among others. Neat please.
