Welcome to The Pit from DFW. Thank you for your service. We love pics of outdoor kitchens. Many years ago, if you walked into almost any IBM office, you walked on my flooring products. Congrats on 66 years of marriage.

Are you talking about the raised flooring? Most of the offices I was in was pretty much standard old tile...
BTW NW South Caroline is home to a lot of Dorn's and my ancestors first American home. McCormick has a old mill built by"Goldmine Billy", William Buckhalter Dorn. He was extremely wealthy but lost it as a result of the Civil War... We have visited the area several times.

Welcome from NE OK! Glad to see you! Even more glad to hear you're 86 on and on NO MEDS! That's awesome, I know just a few like that.
Also even more EVEN MORE glad to hear about your 66-year success story! More of our world needs to emulate that! Congrats, and again, welcome!
I' m sure you've got more than a few tricks to teach and tips to contribute.... about cooking AND about LIFE!

I was born in Duncan but got to Texas as fast as I could... Seriously we were "Okies" that went to Texas instead of California... Sometimes you are just lucky that way...
The no meds bit I attribute to my grandparents that all lived long lives. I have long contended that the most important choice you make in life is who you choose for your grandparents...

You haven't seen the good stuff like my "Dirty Harry" incident when I shot myself with a .44 magnum or my "Evil Knivel" incident when I tried to jump a ravine on a 4-wheeler and ended up in hospital for two weeks. Both of these happened after I was 70 years old... There are a few others earlier on...BIG GRIN!!! Yep, I have kept my guardian angel busy...
