        Welcome to the Pit Carolyn! I personally have 26" Weber Kettle and a Pit Barrel Cooker. The Pit Barrel does not have a cart, but many members will extol it's virtues. Cannot go wrong with either one.

                What sort of cooker are you interested in? Gas, charcoal, etc.? Or, what do you want to do with it? Grill, smoke, both?

                  I used to have a small gas grill, so I'll probably stick with that to start. My grilling skills are pretty limited, but I'd like to change that and learn some low and slow for ribs and such. So, start with gas and add another cooker, most likely. I am mostly cooking for 2, but don't mind lots of left overs.

                    I'm a Broil King fan, I'm on my second Broil King gasser. I'm sure Weber is already on your radar.

                  Yeah, Weber has lots of fans, but I have never seen one in person that I can remember. I have learned there are lots of makers out there that I haven't heard of. I also didn't realized there are quite a few small companies that custom build pits. It is a lot to take-in. Thanks for the recommendation on the Broil King.
