Welcome from upstate NY. I haven't brewed in while but I still have all of the equipment. Had a lot of fun brewing. I'm sure you'll have as much fun here. Lot of great people and a wealth of information. Enjoy the ride.

Howdy from Houston and welcome to The Pit, we’re glad to have ya….on this side for a change. If you’re looking to get a kettle, which you should because they’re so versatile, you might want to give the SNS kettle a look. They have a lot of features not found on comparable kettles.

                    Welcome to the Pit!

                    I'm a beer judge also.

Cold beer in my mug? Perfect score!

Warm beer in my mug or empty mug?

Interesting choice of a moniker. The story behind Wapiti is……..
I do know what it means BTW.
When younger I was an avid hunter of the damn things! Not a good one, just avid!

Welcome to the Pit from Alabama, and a fellow brewer and BBQ enthusiast.

Never had time to do the BJCP stuff though. Went through one of their sensory training kits with some other guys in my local homebrew club a number of years ago. I shudder to think of some of the "off flavors" we dealt with...

Back to BBQ - a Weber kettle is one of the best values you will ever have for grilling and smoking, and upping your BBQ game. Have fun!

Welcome from north Texas. Can’t beat a kettle. But keep the pellet, too.
