Chances of using the recipes on the pit are probably very slim. I’ve been married to my bride 45 years and she is VERY selective in her spices. I showed her a BBQ sauce recipe and she said using tabasco, cayenne pepper and black pepper will stay out of the sauce or am not eating it. She has always been a slight bland eater and has for 45 years. I’ll have to sneak spices in my sauce and leave out black pepper cause she can see that. She’s a funny and picky eater. My wife will use sweet baby rays BBQ sauce but for me really don’t like it that much.Last edited by Ghawtho; September 17, 2022, 04:56 PM.

Mrs Mosca has health issues that prevent her from eating a whole slew of delicious foods: no onions, tomatoes, coffee or tea, no artificial sweeteners, no citrus…. I feel your pain. But we adapt. When I grill bbq’d chicken, or ribs, I do half with and half without. I just made that green chile stew, I made half with Hatch chiles and tomatoes, the other half with bell peppers and mushrooms (and it turned out, a lot of other stuff). We adapt for those we love, and it’s worth it. Good job.

You guys will have to check out Clovis New Mexico if your ever out this way. Clovis has a lot of music history. This is where Buddy Holly recorded all his music. The Fireballs recorded here too, Sugar Shack & Bottle Of Wine. The original recording studio the artist used is still 100% operational and gives tours during our summer music festival. The Original reel to reel tape recorder is still loaded with the recording of Buddy Holly recordings and still operates.
