                    Welcome from Minnesota. I have a MAK 2 Star and like it a lot. IMO most of the American made Pellet Grills are good as are several others. You have heard some good suggestions already.

                            I have the LSG 20x36 pellet grill (I also have the 20x36 offset) and it is heads and tails above the Rec Tec 680 I had for 8 years. The smoke profile from this 400# beast is amazing. I did a spatchcocked chicken and still get smoke out of the exhaust with the controller set to 350...unheard of on the Rec Tec. Plus the searing capability is another nice feature. If you choose the LSG you won't be disappointed except in the lead time.
