This is definitely a consideration. I'm not going to personally try to make the case that game meat procured by hunting is cheaper than supermarket fare, because let's be honest, none of us want to quantify how much we spend on our hobbies, lol. But for many other reasons, game meat has advantages over supermarket protein. It is 100% organic, free range, GMO free, no steroids, no antibiotics, and is sustainable. Using that logic, I recently converted a vegan to hunting and eating wild game!

My current cookers include a Shirley Fabrication 24x36 patio model; Weber Performer with the Slow-n-Sear 2.0 & Drip & Griddle; Pit Boss Series 2 propane smoker & SnS Travel Kettle.
Straight Whiskey: I'm a bourbon guy. All time favorite Pappy Van Winkle 12 year. Standard go to Blantons
Blended Whiskey: James Oliver American Whiskey
I also enjoy an occasional cigar
Welcome from upstate NY! I suspect you will have a unique perspective and open some minds to your style of cooking. I'm looking forward to seeing your posts and sharing information with you

Welcome from St. Cloud, FL.
Odd thing we lived in Anderson, SC on Lake Hartwell in the 90's and would drive the boat up to Clemson and hit Charley T's on the water for Tigers games and sometimes when there were no games, enjoyable times for sure.
Also lived in Panama City Beach, for 14 years (2000-2014) off Thomas Dr. in a subdivision along North Lagoon.
