Bud has always been my barley pop.
Been smoking a handful of years, just got serious in the last two or three years. Thanks to AR n @glemn picked up an SnS Kamado for appx 1/3 price of new. I dont think he used it twice. Love AR! keep calm n smoke on! Miss you Bonesy.

Actually it can be done but the real issue is removing the fiberglass liner if it has one. I’ve heard of people trying to burn it out, sandblast it out, etc.
Not real sure of their success though.
The thickness is usually 14 gauge or so so it is pretty thin but it will work fine pending cleanup.
Have you tried looking for air compressor tanks? Those are usually easy to find and less cleanup.
