    Hello from Louisiana

I've been following the site for a long time and it has been very helpful with techniques, recipes and equipment reviews. I have the Pit Barrel Cooker, a 22.5 Weber Kettle one touch and a COS that I plan to replace in early 2015 with the Good One Open Range. Heres a couple of pics rom some recent cooks on the PBC, a pork tenderloin and some baby back ribs. Glad to be here and happy grilling.

Welcome to The Pit Deuce, and thanks for the support! That tenderloin looks great! We look forward to more pics from you and hearing more about your cooks on the PBC and your soon to be Good One.

When you get a minute, check out Pit Boss' Welcome & Announcements channel as well as the tips posts in that channel. These will help you to fill out your signature as well as learn the best way to post photos larger. We have a great community here, you're going to love it. Enjoy!

Welcome and Geaux Tigers with another football team full of freshmen and sophomores.

I am about to salt down two racks of St. Louis for the PBC tomorrow afternoon.

Take a day off from cutting grass after work.

Deuce, you in Baton Rouge or just a Tigers fan? I lived in Nawlins for a few years and my Step-mom still lives in La Place.

Grilla Pellet Smoker proves good things come in small packages

We always liked Grilla. The small 31.5″ x 29.5″ footprint makes it ideal for use where BBQ space is limited, as on a condo patio.

The Cool Kettle With The Hinged Hood We Always Wanted

Napoleon’s 22″ Pro Cart Charcoal Kettle Grill puts a few spins on the familiar kettle design. In fact, the hinged lid with a handle on the front, spins in a rotary motion 180 degrees. It’s hard to beat a Weber kettle, but Napoleon holds its own and adds some unique features to make the 22″ Pro Cart a viable alternative.

Masterbuilt MPS 340/G ThermoTemp XL Propane Smoker

This is the first propane smoker with a thermostat, making this baby foolproof. Set ThermoTemp’s dial from 175° to 350°F and the thermostat inside will adjust the burner just like an indoor kitchen oven. All you need to do is add wood to the tray above the burner to start smokin’.

GrillGrates Take Gas Grills To The Infrared†Zone

GrillGrates(TM) amplify heat, prevent flareups, make flipping foods easier, kill hotspots, flip over to make a fine griddle, and can be easily moved from one grill to another. You can even throw wood chips, pellets, or sawdust between the rails and deliver a quick burst of smoke.
