Hi everyone! Been a member for over a year, but just now getting around to posting. My name is John, from Eastlake OH, just east of Cleveland. Previously had a seven year career in kitchens before changing gears and becoming a bean counter over the past 18 years.
Keep really busy with family and church and work and school so about the only hobby I have time for is grilling and smoking. My first smoker was a tiny electric kettle that my wife bought me at a garage sale for $10. It worked as well as a $10 electric from a garage sale could be expected to. That's when I knew it was time to get serious.
Thought I'd share some pics of different cooks I've done. The ribs, plantains, burnt ends and wings were smoked on a Louisiana Grills LG900 pellet grill. The sliced turkey was Thanksgiving dinner grilled on a Weber Genesis II 410-SE. The whole turkey breast was on the Big Green Egg I used to have.
