People should consider delivering gift to work or friends addresses.
I can’t really pretend I didn’t see it. My spouse and I agreed that we weren’t doing expensive gifts this year, I was looking for PJs or a bath robe….well the delivery truck arrived 15 minutes ago and I thought what the heck? Well the box has Onni all over it. I’ve been struggling with the 2nd generation pellet model for eons, and only mentioned I would like to have the gas model. Is it the model I wanted? Well not really, however I’m extremely thankful, after all when he was laid off in September and due to a generous package the first thing we did was pay off the credit cards and the second thing I did was spend $500 over our agreed budget on a Napoleon prestige gas grill. I am a bit stunned.

My wife & I used to occasionally deliver our anniversary gifts & misc to her sister's when they lived near us, so neither of us would be tipped off prior to the big day. One year we both did it. She jokingly said she's getting tired of keeping all of these secrets and she's going to start charging. It was funny.

Amazon lets you (still?) create another account under the main account so I did that for my wife (there was a reason that escapes me it was probably church related and she didn't want her search history mucking up mine). Anyway, she would get me gifts on that account so I couldn't see them, but she had access to the main one so she could see what I was browsing for her. Not fair.
If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.
Stonebriarfarm Sounds like he knows what you like! Once you open the "surprise" gift on Christmas, you will need to show us some amazing pizza pictures!
After our trip to Europe recently, my wife fully endorsed me getting a pizza oven, but when I started shopping for them and asking on here, I quickly realized that I would only be satisfied if I dropped $800 to $1000 on a higher end Gozney or Ooni, and not the $300ish pizza oven price range I was expecting. So for now I am sticking with the home oven, or my kamado.
But every time I think about it, the only real difference was size. Even the lowest end Ooni will make amazing pizza - you will just need to crank out 12" pies instead of larger ones. And for us, that would honestly be just fine. I don't know why I am holding out for a 16-18 inch pizza oven, when most of the time, it is just two of us, or us plus a couple of grandkids on pizza night. If you come up with a good dough and sauce that will handle 900 degrees, you can pop out 12 inch pizzas every 90 seconds or so, and be done with it.
Hint: San Marzano tomatoes, available canned in most US grocery stores, are the secret to some amazing Italian/Naples style pizza. A simple sauce of 1 can of crushed tomatoes, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon salt, and it cooks on the pizza. Mmmm.
