The other day I started cooking things other than pizza in my Ooni - why not right? Way easier than cleaning the indoor oven. I stuck my Lodge pan in there and let it get nice and hot, then tossed in a couple of marinated fish fillets, they turned out spectacular after just a few minutes in there.
So now I have convinced my pops to pick up a pizza oven, on the premise that you can cook more than just pizza in there. He just bought an Arc XL, which I'm sure will be delightful to work with. Thing is, he does not like cast iron as he is terrible with maintenance. He prefers enameled cookware.
So TL;DR, does anybody know the limits of Le Creuset type cookware? I know the knobs have their limits around 500 degrees but can't find much on the actual enamel material. I am not comfortable sticking a pan in there above 500-550 without some data. While we're at, it, if anybody has experience with cookware other than cast iron is a very hot (600F+) oven, I'd appreciate your insights as well. Cheers!
