What Else Do You Cook In Your Pizza Oven

I'm thinking of other things I can cook in my new Karu 16. Anybody have any recommendations? I'm thinking of getting a few shallow clay pots that I can use for chunks of fish, meat, vegetables, etc. Thanks. Feliz Navidad de Miami.

Gozney’s YouTube channel has recipes for everything from cinnamon buns to a ribeye sandwich to broccoli cheddar chicken curry. There’s also a playlist of wood-fired recipes that might interest you.

A pizza oven is an oven. Anything you cook in an oven can be cooked in a pizza oven. Maintaining a constant temperature that is not "blazing hot" might be a challenge, but essentially it is an oven.

If you have a gas or pellet fueled pizza oven, temperature control will be easier - but even one that is charcoal or wood fired can be managed. The only limitation will be the size of the opening.

Sid P i just came across the Gozney channel - dang those things are cool! Watched Richard Bertinet bake an apple brioche that looked amazing!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Gozney oven before, but those are cool!

Going to do a whole chicken in my Yoder pizza oven tonight. This will be the first attempt. Planning on a lasagna next week. Once i get through these I'll figure something else out. I have done bread successfully.

He was using a smaller dome. So cool! But had a bigger dome next to it!

I would think using a CI skillet would be a great way of cooking a number of things in a PO. Main dish, desserts, sides. I guess it also depends on how much fuel you want to use for some of it, but i like your ideas you post.

YouTube will let you go off into the deep end of searches….I can’t believe how many PO build videos are now showing up in my feed after watching a few the other day! Ha…

have you cooked anything this week in the PO?
