    Wings and ABTs on a new KBQ....suggestions?

    Smoking wings and ABTs for the UGA game on my newly purchased KBQ. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Approximate cook time? Thanks in advance!

    I’m speculating a lot here... but if this is a new KBQ, and you have yet to fire it up, see how it works and get a first hand impression of what type of results to expect, you should consider doing that first instead of waiting to do that for the game. I don’t know much about that either.
    My personal experience with the KBQ has been pretty good; however, not on my first couple of cooks. Specifically, look for getting a handle on fire management, internal food placement, water pan vs none.

      Thank you....I’ve done three cooks. 2 ribs and one reverse sear steak. Bill K has been a large help regarding the fire. Just cranked it up with a chimney of lump charcoal.
