One of the things that bothered me about getting a new KBQ was that I’ve heard people saying you had to go every 30 minutes or even more frequently and add wood. As an experiment, I started increasing 3035 4045 minutes but each time making sure that I had enough pieces that more or less filled the box and I can keep smoking at 2:25 with very dry oak for an hour, but by that time the embers are Considerably diminished, but I add a number of small pieces like kindling and then some more wood and fill it full and this gets me comfortably to 50 minutes to 60 minutes between Wood adds

It is heavily dependent on the ambient temp outside. If it is cold out, you have to add it much more as the fan is drawing much more to maintain the temps.
If it is hot, like I am sure it is in TX right now, I am sure you can go that long, especially at 225 F. I usually go at 275, and have to add wood about every 20 mins or so.

The most consistent and IMO best results are obtained by managing the fire as a continuous, rather than a batch, process. Add to maintain the coalbed 1 to 2 inches in thickness. Rekindling can cause flavor and color problems, as the combination of kindling's rapid gasification and a thin coalbed can result in under-combusted smoke passing through to the Cookbox. It doesn't take very much of that to get a whiff of turpentine in the flavor profile, and a lot of it will blacken the color.
