Am I the only one?!

All set for my first cook today and discovered that my draft fan doesn't work. The convection fan works fine. The thermostat clicks when turned, however the draft fan doesn't spin....

Disappointed.

Had to fall back on the old reliable pellet cooker.

That sucks. I haven’t had a draft fan go out, but other WTF issues have given my cooks a stiff-arm. Good to hear you were able to huddle up, audible, and proceed with the play on the pellet cooker. Also, I have NO idea why I used the football metaphors. I barely watch the game. Subconscious Sunday musings? 🙂

What is the draft fan?

I thought it had only one fan?

Two fans. The convection fan circulates through the box. The draft fan pulls the heat and smoke into the box.

I'm assuming both? The draft fan only runs when there is a call for heat inside the box. The convection fan is constant.

Nothing worse than a new purchase that doesn’t work. I know it’s a bummer, but I also know Bill K will take care of it.
