Does that saw seem like a good buy. As in will it last? This is kinda looks like one of those Gimmicky things.

It's a regular cheap saw. I don't expect it to last. I'm only using it for logs. It's not the fancy alligator chopper that was recommended

You'll need to do it earlier than 40 or run the risk of your fire going cold as the new logs don't have time to do it. I usually add every 20-30 mins.

I do a chimney of lump to start and then dump it in and add the first log and then stick with logs for the rest of the cook. I have used Chunks as well although you use a lot... it was only once and it was mainly due to not having mini cherry or apple logs.

Ernest I'd love to have a 50/50 mix of both sizes for my Yod'. Looks like great wood.

Huskee I got my first bag from Academy sports before I found these guys. The difference was night and day. This is great wood, air dried. The other STUFF felt and looked horrible.

smarkley Few questions for you. What payment method did you use? I only ask because I would like to use Paypal to get mine so my payment would go through right away. So I can get it faster!!!! 2) What did he give you for an ETA?

Spinaker Well, since I was gonna need to get it shipped... and cost 200 for a total of 1450... I went through Meathead's Amazon link where the price is the same, so Amazon is handling the money.

As far as faster, it probably depends if he has them in stock... he had to at least partially build mine. They are saying between the 9th and 21st for delivery that is a big range and depends on FedEx... so we shall see.

smarkley Spinaker if you send him an email he'll tell you which method is faster. He does build them by order due to garage space. He assembled mine ready for use since I was picking it up.
