Years ago I built my first tube burner for my large offset smoker. Since then I built a set of gas burners for a regular gas grill in my back yard. I have always wanted to do a full grill build, well this spring it finally happened.
I have attached a few pictures of the build. The whole grill is 304 stainless steel including all hardware aside from the gas valves and knobs, which are the only things I didn't build on the grill.
Everything worked out the way I expected with the exception of having to raise the griddle to allow more air flow for the burners. In the last pic I have the temp of the griddle at about half to three-quarter throttle on the burners.
It is currently residing on the back of my camper, but can also be put onto a base that I need to do some updating to.
Thanks for looking,
Jeremy
