In the background is some pipe that may work for the stack. Needs to be 4" minimum and 5" maximum. Do you have access to a CAD plasma cutter? You can cut this pipe cleanly with a 9" disc grinder and cut off discs. He is my 20" RF compact pit for ideas.

SnS 22" kettle, 22" WSM with Pit Viper, 36" LSG pellet pooper
24" Blackstone griddle, 6 Gallon Cajun Fryer.
50K BTU wok burner.
I came across this spreadsheet a couple of years ago. Maybe it will help
Be aware that I have never built a smoker, so I have no way of knowing if these calculations are valid.

Skip that spreadsheet. Do a 1-1.2 m long food chamber, like Ahumadora says, and a 50 cm firebox. And put a 4-5†smoke stack on it, 60-80 cm long.

So, a little update. I found a 125 gallon horizontal propane tank. Its been buried so it looks terrible, but its got most of the enamel left on and no deep rust. It'll take a little elbow grease. I will need to build this a little at a time to cash flow it, but my plan is to get the drum clean up and then build the cart for it. Planning to do som 13'x8' flat free hand truck type with a steerable front axle. I'll accept any suggestions on that!

@Andrr, I work at a working plantation. We have everything I could possibly need. Welders, torches, plasma cutters, metal press, band saw, chop saw, metal skill saws, over head hoists, sand blasters and 80% of the metal I need to complete the build for free. I will just work on it after work on Fridays being my days ends at 11am. It'll give me 5 hrs a week to devote to it without interrupting family time!
