You’re gonna love the BlackStone. Just don’t burn your hand holding that cover while you’re putting it over your burgers. That handle is a little tricky. 🧐😎

With them vent holes all up in it, it's way cooler this time o year, than th aluminium foil in my other hats!

Weber makes a sweet lid. I'm sure blackstone will make good.

Before you send it back, you gotta hit something with it!!!! Did they maybe put the handle on the inside so it fits into a smaller box, and you are to disassemble andreassemble properly, or isitriveted on?

I nominate this thread as the weird thread of the month! Mr. Bones should get a new free functional dome from the Pit!

Update: Finally got my grill dome, bastin cover thingamajig turned right-side out, after some brainstormin, an with help from my bro, Brad!

At work, we heated it up in a small forge we have in th Metal Fab Shop...jus slightly less than Straw Yeller, counta I didn't wanna turn it all kindsa blue n purplish, like Harley exhaust pipes...

Then I took a trick I recalled from my military days, which we used to chill warm cases of beer, pronto like, an I shot it good like, with a fire extinguisher!

It's a dang good thing we was both wearin our PPE, safety glasses, gloves, face shield, etc!
In retrospect, it mighta been a good thing to add adult undergarments, on accounta th thing made a huge-mongous KERWHANG!!!!, an flipped upwards into th air in excess of 16 feet!

Luckily, I was able to catch it, but we spent some time lovin on it on an English Wheel, to get th worst of th Whiskey Dents out...
Functional, now, an looks passable enough...jus in time to utilize it on th new Blackstone griddle what I ain't gonna buy !

Your reflection in the cover makes it look like you snuck up on it to take the pic. 😁
