I like this little guy. Chose it over the similar Blackstone, due to slightly more BTU output. The uneven heating is not an issue, lends some flexibility for placement. It seems fairly efficient. I have the Fuel Keg refillable canisters, but have not tried them yet. Had a cover from another brand which works fine. Easily seasoned. Took it on a 10 person Olympic National Park trip; very handy. Son in law was dubious re doing scrambled eggs on it. Just turn down the heat, works fine. Easy to move around.
