Just got a new to me 28" Blackstone. 4 years old, only been used about 3-4 times by some friends about 4 houses up the street, they even reseasoned it for me yesterday before I got it today. Just rolled it down the street to my house. Nowhere to put it on the deck yet so it has to live in the garage for a bit (deck needs to be replaced anyway, hopefully sometime this year). Now I just have to go swap one of my out of date tanks for a new one and then I can fire it up.

Had to adjust one of the igniters (my neighbors were so stressed that it wasn't working correctly when I got it) and after that if fires right up. There's a little bit of rust I want to clean off of it on the outside edges of the griddle top and inside the lid. Then I'll season it some more (and if necessary hit the inside of the lid with some high-temp paint). But as we're going out of town next weekend it will probably be a while before I can get to it.Comment
