I tried the hash brown omelet on my new 17" Blackstone.
It came out delicious, will do it again.
I put the hash browns in the ring, sauteed my red and yellow peppers and put my chopped bacon on the griddle. I used avocado oil.
When the hash browns were browned on the bottom I poured on the eggs, then added the sauteed peppers and bacon. Then later added American yellow cheese.
Cooked until eggs were firm, then removed the rings. The rings came off without sticking. I then folded them, and they stayed together.
I put more cheese on top of the omelet. Put a lid over them and melted the cheese....delicious!
The only thing I would do different are:
1. Sautee the peppers and bacon, then put into a covered dish. Not a lot of room on my griddle with 2-8" rings.
2. Take hash browns out of the freezer the night before, and then on counter as griddle was heating up.
3. Season the hash browns after putting them in the rings. I forgot.
Put as you see in the pics, not bad.
