Is it covered? Did it get rained on? Did it happen by itself just through humidity and no rain? If you don’t have a cover, I’d highly recommend getting one. A blow dryer should get rid of the condensation for now. But, it looks to be a reoccurring problem if not fixed. Email Weber with pics, but just make sure to go into detail with them how it happened.

A cover is great to keep the elements off your griddle, so yeah, I’d get one anyway. But…you’ll still get humidity inside, maybe even more so with a cover as it will be trapped inside with no way to dry out. It seems to me that there’s a defect in your thermometer housing which is allowing moisture in. I’d recommend asking Weber for a new thermometer housing.
